FAQ’s

1, Is this conference mandatory? 
Attendance is mandatory by at least one owner for each BrightStar Care Franchise at Annual Conference.  Owners do not have the option of sending an employee in their place unless they are the designated control person for that franchisee. Failure to attend will result in a Notice of Default, and you will be charged the single registration fee of $1,700 and hotel accommodation.  If you have any questions about this policy, please contact your field support representative.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy for additional attendees beyond the requirement   

• Cancelations between 9/1/2023-9/25/2023 at 11:59pm will result in a 50% refund of your total registration fee. 
• Cancelations after 9/25/2023 at 11:59 pm will result in a 0% refund of your total registration fee.  

3. What is the dress code? 

The dress code at Annual Conference is casual attire, jeans are acceptable.  

4. What should I wear to the Awards Gala? 

The Awards Gala is a formal event, black tie optional. 

Some examples include: a formal gown, suit or tux is appropriate.  Please contact Tami Herrold with specific questions related to what is considered appropriate attire for any conference events.   

Sometimes meeting spaces can be cooler than what some consider comfortable, consider bringing a light sweater or jacket to have on hand.  

5. What days / times should I plan my arrival and departure for the conference? 

Please reference the conference agenda prior to making your travel arrangements.   

For first time attendees, we kindly ask that you arrive in time for the New Attendee Reception that will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd.     

For all returning attendees, the Welcome Reception begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd.   

The conference will conclude after the Awards Gala on Thursday, October 6th. 

6.  Will you be able to accommodate my dietary needs? 

Yes, at the time of registration you will be able to indicate your dietary restrictions.  

7.  What will the weather be like in Atlanta, Georgia?  

Though we can’t guarantee the weather outlook, the average temperatures for October are highs in the mid 70’s and lows are in the mid 60’s.  

8. Am I allowed to bring guests to the social functions during conference, even if I’m willing to pay an extra fee for their attendance? 

All conference events (general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, and the welcome reception) are for registered conference attendees only.   

Guests can be invited to attend the Awards Gala for a guest fee of $250.00 per person.
